What is Buy & Try?
Buy & Try allows you to purchase a MacBook and try it for 60 days with
support provided by our team to get the best out of your MacBook.
At any point within the 60 days you can return the MacBook for a refund
should you not be satisfied with the device.
All returned devices will follow the standard device inspection process
before the refund amount is determined and processed.
What range of MacBooks are eligible for Buy & Try?
Any in-stock MacBook Air & MacBook Pro Models.
What should I do if I’m not satisfied with my MacBook purchase?
Simply send a return request email to admin@shopitnew.co.za. Please include your collection address.
The returned MacBook must include:
- The original box.
- The original power adaptor & cable.
- Any original peripherals.
What is the returns or refund policy?
All returned devices will follow the normal device inspection process.
The returned device must include the original packaging, original cable and power adaptor included.
The MacBook lock should be deactivated from the device before the device is returned.
The returned device will be wiped clean once returned.
Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will process your refund.
Refunds will be done in the form of an electronic funds transfer (EFT) to a bank account nominated by you.
You’re required to submit a proof of bank account letter for EFT refunds.
Refunds are processed within 10-14 days business days.
The full refund will be applicable on a Mac that is in working condition with no visible defects.
A 30% handling fee will be charged on damaged devices still in working condition.
All returned devices will follow the normal device inspection process.
